FACILITIES

White Hart Childcare offers a spacious and secure play area for children. Children have access to a range of books, puzzles, toys, games and a dressing up box to encourage both structured and imaginative play. There is a TV and DVD player in the play area for occasional use, and older children have access to a computer, for developing ICT skills. We also have plenty of crayons, paints and playdough for art and craft activities.

Outside, our 1/3 acre garden offers plenty of space for a range of activities. Besides offering masses of space for children to burn off steam during ‘free play’ time, there is a vegetable terrace where we grow seasonal produce. There is space for messy play on the sand and water table, ample space for team ball games, and a secure woodland area which is ideal for building dens in and exploring. We also have a swing, slide and see-saw, and for smaller guests we have a variety of ‘ride on’ toys.

A calm sleeping area is available for nap times. We have travel cots and black out blinds to ensure a comfortable and relaxing sleeping environment.

For older children, a quiet homework area is available if required.

White Hart Childcare makes use of Sevenoaks’ extensive local facilities. We make regular trips to places such as the library, Knole Park, local toddler groups, Hollybush Park, Bradbourne lakes for duck feeding and local soft play zones, so that children become aware of, and feel part of their community.

Claire drives a 7 seater car which is fully insured for childminding purposes. Appropriate child seats will be available for your child. White Hart Childcare is fully insured with public liability insurance, as part of our National Childminding Association Membership.
