ACTIVITIES
White Hart Childcare offers a range of fun, exciting and age relevant activities for babies and children. White Hart Childcare aims to educate, stimulate and inspire all children in our care and enable them to develop into confident, happy individuals.
For children aged 0-5, activities are carefully planned to meet the learning, development and welfare requirements outlined by the Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
Activities for children aged 5+ include a balance of fun and developmental pursuits. White Hart Childcare aims to work in partnership with parents and schools to support in-school learning, and will include relevant activities to enhance topics being studied at school. There will of course be plenty of time for fun too, with time for ‘free play’ and creative art and craft to give children the opportunity to use their imaginations and creativity.
Fresh air and exercise is extremely important for children of all ages, so play in the garden and excursions to local parks are a daily feature in our schedule.
In order to develop a children’s sense of community and social skills, Claire regularly attends local toddler groups and takes children to community facilities such as the leisure centre and library. Claire can also take children to parent organised after school clubs/classes if required.
